A Fruitful Personal Ministry, Acts Series 9:32-43

What is the formula for a fruitful personal ministry?  We see many examples and lessons through the Word of God, and in this section of study, we see two examples: Peter and Dorcas. Let's look together at 6 key pointers to a fruitful personal ministry. 

A Reason To Rejoice, Even in Heaviness, 1 Peter 1:6-9

What a glorious truth we discover in Scripture and in Christian life.  If we suffer, it is for a season, and we 'know' that God has implemented seasons as temporary, for a purpose and beautiful in it's time.  What encouragement we can receive knowing the love of God and the glory to come - even if we are heavy in sorrow.

Who Are Abraham’s Children? -Part 1 | Also: ”Too Legal or Too Liberal-Truth is found in Balance” | Romans series 4:9-16

Having established the relationship between imputed righteousness and Faith, Paul continues the conclusion that since Abraham was 'righteous' before circumcision then it follows that not only those who are circumcised qualify for imputed righteousness.  

God’s Providence In The Life of Paul, Acts Series 9:10-31

We see God's providential working with Ananias to go to Paul and God preparing Paul to serve Him. We also see that God does not save people to be alone on earth. Even Paul, who had hunted Christian's down just a few days prior would need the fellowship of the Saints - which God also providentially guides, even today.

Saved On The Road To Damascus, Acts9:1-9

Paul gives his testimony many times and the account of his salvation is given three times in the book of Acts alone. What an amazing transformation we see in the heart and life of Paul, which can only be explained by the Power of God.

Imputed-Reckoned-Counted, Not Infused, Romans Series 4:1-9

Romans chapter 4 uses the legal term of imputing, reckoned or counted eleven times.  It says blessed is the man who is imputed righteousness and blessed is the man who is not imputed sin.  What does this mean?  Please join us as we continue in our  Roman Series

Promoting Thanksgiving, 2 Cor 9:1-15

What an amazing effect of giving!  When we give, we promote thanksgiving to those who receive;  Our faith is increased, their thankfulness is created, God is glorified in both.  This is a 'gift' that Paul tells the church to abound in among their other gifts.  He even goes further to call the ministering to the Saints an experiment to bring glory to God.  May we not neglect this awesome gift God has given each of us the ability to use.

Iniquities Forgiven, Romans 4:1-3

What does it mean to be Justified by Faith, to have our iniquities forgiven? The assuring rest of hope which we gain in the security of God's glorious mercy and finished work of Christ is at the very heart of Justification.

Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch, Acts Series 8:25-40

In this portion of scripture we see an example of how important personal ministry is. Not everyone is called to preach to groups of people, but those who are believer's can and should witness with their lifestyle and even be ready to open Scriptures to lead someone to Christ. God is sovereign in saving His own and will prepare the hearts to receive it and His messengers to deliver it. How wonderful it would be that God uses us to witness to someone God has prepared, just as we see here with Philip and the Eunuch.
