A Charge to our Fathers on Fathers Day

The attacks we see today from society on masculinity, men and Fathers is sad but this corruptive exposure could be endangering the children's views on parentage and Fatherhood.   More today than ever, we need to focus and shape our families under the perfect instructions of God to heal and maintain the harmony within the home.  For the next hour we'll see the Lord's instructions from Ephesians 6 address each member of the family but keeping a special emphasis on the Father's role.  May God richly bless you and His Word guide you.

The first sermon recorded after Jesus' ascension is Peter standing boldly and for all ears to hear, the simple gospel message that Jesus of Nazareth is the long-awaited Messiah of Israel.  This is part 1 covering the first two of four points that Peter covers (His life, death, resurrection and exaltation).  God had accredited Jesus life with undeniable miracles and wonders, which Jesus himself said that one greater than John the Baptist testifies that He is the Christ, the Father Himself, and 2) Jesus met the death of the cross willingly which was determined by God in eternity that "..by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities." - Isa 53:11
